PIPEWORKS is an interactive installation, performance & sound piece.
From the pipeworks digital feelings now pour out as paper. “Love and “hate” status updates are harvested from twitter in real time. Open the valves, hear the flow of feelings. Insert a coin, the feelings spew out from the pipe. now that they are in the material world, are they worth it?
Mark McKeague is currently completing a BSc in Music Technology at SARC Belfast, specialising in interaction design. Mark is interested in how people interact and experience social media, and how online data is perceived in real world situations.
